Some of the Works We Do with Vapour Blasting
All metals,plastics,even wood can be processed by Vapour Blasting with excellent results. Aluminium castings in particular look “like new” after this process.
The peening effect of vapor blasting on metals actually seals the microscopic pores on the surface, the part will not absorb grease and dirt like a dry blasting will. Surfaces are not affected, precision tolerances, such as bearing fits and piston size will not be changed. Vapour blasting can work wonders on plastics ,take a look at the photos for the plastic motorcycle gaurd from black paint to the original white plastic and it is very smooth so even the Japanese plastic parts ie grill, interior parts can be renovated to like new condition just great for the restorer
